Elizabeth Dunn

I worked in construction and cabinetmaking before deciding to challenge brain more and spare the back. At age thirty-six I had some pressing questions about human behavior, including my own, so returned to school as an elderly undergrad.

While completing doctoral coursework in Educational Psychology (learning and cognition) I used preliminary dissertation research to find my husband. After years of working several jobs and carrying a full course load, it was the only way to fit it in!

I started writing and then delivering management and leadership training, in the US and Canada. I truly love working with adults in the middle of interesting lives. For the last five years this work has been divided between highly functional and pragmatic business managers, and people who are recovering from addictions and are rebuilding lives. In both areas, emphasis is on growing work and personal lives in ways that deeply satisfy underlying needs.

Thirty years of Buddhist practice and inquiry inform my approach to communication, as does mediation training and certification.
